Join our team as a: Senior Accountant (Bilingual - Axos)
What are we looking for?
- Languages: Advanced English (bilingual), capable of presenting reports to executive management and auditors.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Experience: 5-6+ years of experience in accounting roles.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience with Spreadsheet Software (macros, complex functions) and functional knowledge of operational accounting systems.
- Specialized Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP and compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
What do we expect from you?
- Financial Integrity: Maintain records of the organization's financial activity and perform reconciliations for third-party transactions.
- Reporting & Analysis: Create and present financial performance reports for internal, external, and SEC reporting.
- Closing Activities: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including foreign exchange and tax.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional meetings, lead projects, and provide training/coaching to peers and staff members.
- Technical Research: Research technical accounting issues and propose alternatives to ensure regulatory compliance.
